Engineering Manager, Product Development at Tasso

Yuri Miyamoto has a diverse work experience in engineering and research. They started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from June 2014 to August 2015. In September 2015, they interned as an Engineering Intern at Tasso, Inc. before transitioning to the role of Product Development Engineer from September 2017 to June 2023. Yuri then progressed to become the Engineering Manager, overseeing product development at Tasso, Inc starting in May 2023. Alongside their work at Tasso, Inc., Yuri also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at the Arola Lab at the University of Washington from August 2016 to June 2017. They had the opportunity to gain mentorship experience in material science and engineering at PolyDrop, LLC from September 2016 to March 2017. Additionally, they participated in a material science and engineering UW mentorship program at Boeing from September 2016 to December 2016, where they collaborated with a team of engineers to optimize material selection and properties for I-beams used in Boeing airplanes.

Yuri Miyamoto attended the University of Washington from 2013 to 2017, where they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering.
