Ashwinikumar Patil

Ashwinikumar Patil has extensive experience in the energy sector, specifically in renewable energy and hydro power. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Walwhan Renewables Energy Ltd. and holding the positions of Chief (Operations & Maintenance) and Head of Corporate Responsibility & Sustainability at TATA Power Renewable Energy Ltd. since March 1995, Ashwinikumar has a strong background in the operation, maintenance, erection, commissioning, and testing of hydro plants, including engineering aspects. Previously, Ashwinikumar was the Chief Executive Officer at Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd. from July 2020 to August 2022. Educational qualifications include an M Tech in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Hydro Turbomachinery from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Govt College of Engineering, Aurangabad, along with further studies at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad.
