Shirish Gupte

Shirish Gupte possesses extensive experience in engineering and operations management, currently serving as Head of Operations Contracts at TATA Power since October 2008. Prior to this role, Shirish held the position of Vice President - Engineering at Citec Engineering India Pvt. Ltd. from March 2004 to October 2008, and was Chief Development Engineer and Project Manager at Wartsila Finland Oy between April 2002 and March 2004. Experience also includes serving as Manager Sales Support at Wartsila India Limited from 1989 to 2004, Project Engineer at Perfect Engineering Associates Pvt. Ltd. from January 1986 to March 1989, and Assistant Engineer at Western India Erectors Ltd. from November 1980 to January 1986. Shirish Gupte holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Raipur, completed between 1975 and 1980, and completed Higher Secondary education at Higher Secondary School Sector-10 Bhilai Chhattisgarh from 1970 to 1975.
