Zihao Xu's work experience includes various roles in different companies. Zihao served as a Partner at Octopus Ventures, where they focused on investing in potential growth and innovation in areas such as health, fintech, deep tech, consumer, and B2B software. Zihao also held positions as a Non-Executive Director at Vinter, Intropic, Tatum, Integrated Finance, Mosaic Smart Data, Elliptic, and The Plum Guide, where they contributed to the development and management of various projects and platforms. Additionally, they worked as a Board Observer at Merge and multiply.ai, where they provided insights and recommendations for financial planning and technology solutions.

Zihao Xu began their education journey in 2007 at the University of Oxford, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Management. Zihao successfully completed their undergraduate program in 2010.
