Erik Sautter is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in software engineering and solutions architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Solutions Architect at TaxAct since November 2014, Erik specializes in architecting modern, cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS-based microservices, mobile technologies, and JAMstack. Prior to this, Erik worked as a Software Engineer at TaxAct, contributing to the development of award-winning tax preparation software across various platforms. Erik began a career foundation at Rockwell Collins in internships that focused on software coding for military applications and testing avionics systems. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Iowa State University, obtained in 2005.
