Taylor Woodrow
Jon Ives has over 30 years of work experience in the construction industry. Jon began their career as a Senior Structural Technician at Alan Baxter & Associates in 1985. Jon then worked as a Site Agent at Balfour Beatty Construction before becoming a Project Manager at Osprey Developers. Jon later joined Reef Construction Limited as a Project Manager, where they oversaw various construction projects. After this, they served as a Senior Contracts Manager at Durkan Pudelek and Greymane Contracting. In 2007, Jon joined High-Point Rendel Ltd as a Senior Consultant until 2012 when they became a Senior Commercial Manager at Obayashi Corporation Middle East Office. Jon then worked at Taylor Woodrow as a Commercial Director. Throughout their career, Jon has managed procurement, commercial and contracts management, business development, estimation, and tendering for different building projects.
Jon Ives pursued their education in a chronological manner. Jon graduated from the University of Kent in 1991 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree with honors, specializing in Civil Engineering. Later on, in 2011, they attended the Robert Gordon University and obtained a Master of Laws degree in Construction Law and Arbitration.
