David Hicks

David Hicks is a lean leader and long-time quality professional. He currently serves as Vice President, Consulting in addition to his client management responsibilities.

Dave Hicks is an experienced lean leader and quality professional that has helped numerous clients increase competitiveness and accelerate value creation through productivity improvement, working capital reduction, improved asset utilization, management system design and implementation, and lean transformation. He works directly with senior management teams to execute strategy deployment and sustainable performance improvement in large footprint, global organizations. Since joining TBM, Dave has become a trusted advisor to Pactiv Corporation, Prestone, Fram, Pratt & Whitney, and Conn-Selmer.

Before joining TBM, Dave held progressively responsible quality and continuous improvement roles at Teleflex Incorporated. At Teleflex, Dave was the Global Director of Quality and Continuous Improvement where he implemented lean in many industries including automotive, aerospace, medical devices, industrial, and marine. He has a strong background in diagnostics and statistics and has trained many people in statistical methods.

Dave has an MBA from the University of Findlay, Findlay, Ohio, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. He has taken several graduate statistics courses from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York and holds a Six Sigma Master Black Belt certificate.
