Monte Barker

Monte Barker, CAMS, currently serves as the Group Manager for Financial Crime Risk Investigation at TD, a position held since November 2024. Prior to this, Monte was with StrategyBRIX as a Manager and Senior Consultant from January 2023 to November 2024. From April 2021 to January 2023, Monte worked at NorthOne, specializing in Financial Crimes and KYC procedures. Monte’s experience includes roles at TD as a Personal Banking Associate and Customer Experience Associate, and as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks. Additional roles include positions as a Policy & Programs Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sport, a Project & Communications Assistant at the Ontario Ministry of Community and Social Services, and a Tax Compliance Officer with the Government of Nunavut. Monte holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Ryerson University.
