Alena Brenner

Alena Brenner serves as the Executive Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Cornerstone since April 2021, overseeing legal, compliance, sustainability, and risk management functions. In addition to this role, Alena Brenner has been a member of the Board of Directors for Teach For America since May 2019. Prior experience includes nearly a decade at Ryder System, Inc., where Alena Brenner held the position of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, focusing on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, SEC financial reporting, and sustainability. Alena Brenner also worked at Anheuser-Busch InBev as Director of Legal Affairs, advising on corporate governance and various international transactions, and spent nearly nine years as a Senior Associate Attorney at Hunton & Williams LLP, providing legal counsel to Fortune 500 companies. Alena Brenner holds a JD from Fordham University School of Law and a BS from Cornell University.
