Ali Sillah

Ali Sillah is an experienced educator and community leader currently serving as a SPED Math Teacher at High Bridge Green Middle School under the NYC Department of Education since July 2019. In this role, Ali enhances students' academic progress through interactive learning, formative assessments, and well-prepared lesson strategies. Concurrently, Ali is a Corps Member with Teach For America, providing effective instruction in summer school programs while continuously improving teaching skills through professional development. Additionally, Ali is the Chief Executive Officer of BAMBA Sports, dedicated to community engagement by organizing impactful events, such as annual soccer tournaments. Previous experience includes a role as a Community Organizer at FLOI and an internship with the New York State Assembly, where organizational skills were implemented to enhance operational efficiency. Ali holds a Master of Arts in Teaching in Special Education from Relay Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Lehman College.
