Fatima N. Heyward

Fatima N. Heyward is an experienced professional currently serving as 1st Vice Chair of the Association of Chartered Unit Presidents and Black Caucus 2nd Vice Chair for the Young Democrats of America, along with roles such as Issue Advocacy Director and Chapter Building Deputy Director. Fatima has held the position of Director of National Corporate Partnerships at Teach For America since October 2021, managing partnerships to optimize returns on investment. As President of the New Jersey Young Democrats and Chair of the Emerging Leaders Caucus for the New Jersey Democratic State Committee since July 2019, active leadership in political engagement is evident. Previously, experience includes managing reproductive justice campaigns at Planned Parenthood and co-founding the South Jersey Young Democrats Black Caucus. Fatima has a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Rider University and is pursuing an Executive MBA at Howard University.
