Jerry Ochoa

Jerry Ochoa currently serves as the Vice President of National Corporate Partnerships at Teach For America, a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Jerry was the Director of Corporate Partnerships at City Year Chicago from June 2018 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading the Corporate Development and Civic Engagement teams and generating significant site revenue through corporate partnerships. Earlier experience includes serving as the Assistant Director of Individual Giving at The Joffrey Ballet, managing donor relations, and fundraising roles at Houston Public Media and Two Star Symphony, where Jerry achieved multiple grant successes. Jerry began a career in development as a Development Coordinator at United Way of Greater Houston, successfully soliciting large corporate gifts. Jerry holds a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Houston-Downtown and has previous education from The University of Texas at Austin.
