Leo Fieldgrass is an experienced Government Relations specialist currently serving as the Head of Government Relations at Teach For Australia since February 2019, where responsibilities include leading State government strategy and advising on Federal government strategy. Previously, Leo was the CEO of The Youth Affairs Council of Victoria, focusing on youth services and young people's needs. Additional roles include National Director at the Australian Youth Affairs Coalition, where policy and strategy were directed for the national peak body representing youth aged 12-25. Leo has also coordinated youth empowerment projects at the Brotherhood of St Laurence and managed teenage pregnancy and substance misuse projects at Brighton & Hove City Council. Educational credentials include a Master of Social Science from RMIT University and a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Studies from the University of Bedfordshire, along with studies at the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Australia and New Zealand School of Government.
