Sophie Onwubuariri is a professional with a strong background in education and administration. With experience as a Class Teacher at the National Youth Service Corps, Sophie taught a variety of subjects and organized extra-curricular activities for students. Sophie then transitioned to becoming an Administrative Officer/Supervisor at Adeleke University Ventures before taking on the role of a Coach at Teach For Nigeria. Sophie holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Masters Degree in Economics from Adeleke University.

Teach For Nigeria (TFN) is a non-profit organization focused on developing a movement of leaders across the nation who are committed to ending educational inequity. At TFN, we recruit and train graduates who are then placed to teach in under-served schools during a two-year fellowship. The fellows also commit to undertaking various community or classroom projects. We are driving the movement towards educational equity and excellence in Nigeria.
