Melissa Mach

Melissa Mach has a diverse range of work experience. Melissa is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Teachable, starting in August 2021. Prior to this, they were a Software Engineering Student at Flatiron School from October 2020 to February 2021. During their time at Flatiron School, they developed various applications using technologies such as React, JavaScript, Ruby on Rails, and Postgres.

Before their role at Flatiron School, Melissa worked at Gympass as an Activation Manager from July 2019 to April 2020. In this position, they planned and executed onsite and digital events to launch new employee benefits and develop engagement strategies. Prior to that, they worked as a Client Enablement Coordinator at Gympass from May 2018 to July 2019.

Melissa also has experience in experiential marketing. Melissa worked as a Junior Account Executive at MAG from August 2016 to November 2017, where they executed various marketing initiatives and managed projects for clients from different industries. Melissa also gained experience as a Production Intern at MKG - The Experiential Marketing Agency from January 2015 to May 2015, assisting in the execution of events for different brands.

Earlier in their career, Melissa worked as a Project Management Coordinator at Movado Group, Inc from November 2015 to July 2016, where they ensured production timelines were met and facilitated communication between design and marketing teams. Melissa also held internships at MRY as a Bobble Campus Representative and at Berk Comm & Marketing Group as a Public Relations Intern.

Melissa's professional experience began in 2011 as an Office Assistant at LibraryLinkNJ, The New Jersey Library Cooperative, where they provided support in business administration and customer inquiries related to library operations.

Melissa Mach has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication from Rutgers University, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. In 2020 and 2021, they attended Flatiron School to pursue their interest in Computer Software Engineering. However, it is not specified if they obtained a degree or certification from this program.
