David Durance has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. David started their career in 2000 as a Sales Manager at Future Shop, where they worked until 2004. In 2003, they joined TELUS Communications as a Store Manager and later became an Area Manager in 2005. David then moved to Detech in 2011 to work as a Marketing Director until 2018. David'smost recent role was at TeachBeyond, where they served as the Regional Director from June 2018 to April 2019, and then became the President from April 2019 onwards.

In partnership with local organizations, TeachBeyond co-owns and supports a number of K-12 schools, English language learning programs, and projects.
