Andy Roth

Andy Roth has a strong background in QA engineering and product management. Andy most recently worked as a Director of QA Engineering at Teaching Strategies, LLC since January 2021. Prior to that, they served as a QA Manager at the same company from February 2018 to January 2021. Before joining Teaching Strategies, LLC, Andy worked as the Director of Product Management at Blackboard from April 2017 to January 2018, where they were responsible for managing the Blackboard mobile app. Andy also worked as the Director of Product at Sagence Learning from August 2016 to March 2017, focusing on competency-based education technology. Andy has experience in leading agile scrum teams, as well as a diverse range of roles including Development Manager, QA Manager, Scrum Master, Test Automation Engineer, and Product Owner at Flat World Education from February 2014 to August 2016. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Product Quality at GetGlue, a social TV network, from February 2007 to November 2013. Andy started their career as a Software Engineer and Software Test Engineer at IBM Rational Software from 1995 to 2007. Andy also worked as a Marketing Representative at Delta Health Systems in 1993.

Andy Roth has an education history that includes a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Technology Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, which they obtained from 1995 to 1999. Andy also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from Penn State University, which they earned from 1989 to 1993.
