Dr. Christian Nissing, PhD, is a seasoned expert in clean fuels and sustainable energy, currently serving as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at TEAL Mobility since February 2024. Prior to this role, Dr. Nissing held various leadership positions at TotalEnergies, including Head of Business Development Europe at H2 Mobility Solutions and Head of Strategy, Marketing & Innovation, where significant advancements in natural gas vehicles, hydrogen, and customized transport solutions were achieved. During tenure at PitPoint clean fuels as Chief Strategy Officer, Dr. Nissing drove the company’s strategic initiatives before its merger into TotalEnergies. Earlier experience includes roles in business development for alternative fuels at TOTAL Marketing & Services and consulting for the UN Environment Programme. Dr. Nissing holds a Diplom-Ingenieur in Civil & Mining Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a PhD in Environmental & Process Systems Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
