Wes Kinsey

Wes Kinsey is a Disaster Recovery Specialist at Team Rubicon since August 2020, contributing to disaster response initiatives. Prior to this role, Wes had a distinguished career in IT architecture, retiring as an Enterprise Architect from a major independent oil company, where responsibilities included long-term strategy development for Unix/Linux and other platforms, data center capacity management, and high-performance computing system planning. Wes also led a successful storage engineering team at ExxonMobil from 2000 to 2003. Education includes a BA in Philosophy from St. Mary's College of Maryland and a high school diploma from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. In addition to a professional background, Wes engages in volunteer work with various organizations, including the Houston Botanic Garden and Houston Community Toolbank.
