Troy Horton

Troy Horton is an accomplished gaming industry professional with extensive experience in game development and management. Currently serving as the Head of Game Scouting at Team17 Digital Ltd since April 2018, Troy has significantly contributed to notable titles including the Tomb Raider series from its inception. Previously, as CEO of Core Design Studios Limited from September 2014 to April 2018, Troy led a team providing high-quality art production and development services for AAA titles. As the founder and CEO of Pearl Digital Entertainment from June 2005 to September 2014, Troy established one of the first game outsourcing studios in Shanghai, managing a large staff and servicing major clients like Activision Blizzard and Electronic Arts. Troy also held the role of Senior Producer at Core Design, overseeing the development of numerous titles, and began a military career with the Grenadier Guards in the British Army. Troy holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies from the University of Derby.
