Sam Morrill has a diverse work experience in various marketing roles. In 2016, they worked as a Digital Account Coordinator for RobbinsKersten Direct. They then joined The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a Student Series Campaign Specialist, where they managed marketing initiatives for fundraising campaigns. In 2017, Sam worked as a Digital Marketing Associate at Acton School of Business, where they built the first marketing program for the MBA program. They then moved on to SocialWithin and served as an Account Manager, helping clients in fashion, health subscriptions, and marketplace industries. In 2019, Sam became the Head of Growth for Sheets & Giggles™, a seed e-commerce startup, and later became the Vice President of Marketing. They achieved significant growth and managed a marketing team. In 2021, Sam joined the Humane Society of Weld County as the Director of Marketing and Development. Currently, they work at edX as a Teaching Assistant, teaching full-funnel strategy, analytics, media buying, and marketing automation at various universities. In 2022, Sam will join Allegiance Group as a Sr. Account Manager.
Sam Morrill has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Strategic Communications from Oklahoma State University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Scrum Master 1 from Scrum.org in October 2017, Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy in July 2022, Google Ads - Measurement Certification from Google in January 2023, Google Analytics Certification from Google in January 2023, Digital Advertising from HubSpot Academy in July 2022, HubSpot Email Marketing Certification from HubSpot Academy in March 2018, HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification from HubSpot in April 2017, HubSpot Marketing Software Certification from HubSpot Academy in September 2017, and Google Analytics from Google in May 2017.
