Maya Azzi

Maya Azzi is an experienced professional in customer onboarding and talent development, currently serving as the Customer Onboarding Program Lead at Teamshares Inc. since February 2022. Azzi previously excelled as an Executive Recruiter, achieving rapid executive placements and enhancing diversity in candidate pipelines. Prior roles include Senior Program Support Specialist at the University of Arizona, where Azzi was recognized as "Advisor of the Year" for impactful mentorship and led curriculum development for STEM equity programs. Azzi established the Colors of STEM Professional Resource Group, promoting professional development for BIPOC communities. Additional experience includes managing strategic partnerships and programming at Local First Arizona, conducting research at Arizona State University, and sustainability consulting. Azzi holds a Master of Science in Community Resources and Development from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Radford University.
