Doug Fearing serves as the Chief Data Officer at Teamworks, a leading operating system for high-performance sports and military organizations, since August 2024, following the acquisition of Zelus Analytics, a sports intelligence company co-founded by Fearing in February 2019. Prior to this, Fearing held positions such as Director of Baseball Research and Development with the Los Angeles Dodgers, where Fearing established and expanded the R&D team, and Senior Advisor for Baseball Research and Development with the Tampa Bay Rays, offering insights on player evaluation and roster decisions. Fearing's academic experience includes roles as Assistant Professor at both Harvard Business School and The University of Texas at Austin, teaching courses in operations management and technology management.
