Nigel Harris has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years. Nigel began their career at Schroders, where they worked for 12 years as European Treasurer. Nigel then moved to Tearfund, where they worked for a year as a consultant. In 2002, they became CEO of New Philanthropy Capital (NPC), where they worked for six years. From 2008 to 2009, they served as a consultant for the Department for International Development. In January 2009, they became Chief of Staff and COO of Save the Children UK, where they worked for three years. In December 2011, they returned to Tearfund as Chief Executive.
Nigel Harris was educated at Bristol Grammar School and went on to study Classics at the University of Oxford, where they obtained their M.A.
