Alfred Paris

Alfred Paris, MBA PMP, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and development. Currently serving as the R&D Manager for Hardware Engineering & System Architecture at Tecan since January 2023, Paris previously held the position of Head of Development at medPhoton GmbH in 2022. From July 2016 to December 2021, Paris worked at STRATEC SE, where roles included Process-, Change-, and Innovation Manager as well as Engineering Manager. Prior experience includes a tenure at Sony DADC as BioSciences Engineering Manager and Process Engineer from November 2003 to June 2016. Academically, Paris earned a Master of Business Administration - MBA with a focus on Entrepreneurship & Innovation from WU Executive Academy (2016-2018) and a Diplom-Ingenieur / Master of Science (MS) in Technische Physik from Technische Universität Wien (1996-2002), supplemented by an exchange year in Physics at EPFL (2000-2001).
