Lela Andrews

Lela Andrews is a seasoned professional in the field of genomics and technical support, currently serving as the Manager of Global Technical Support at Tecan Genomics, Inc. since May 2020, where leadership of teams in the US and EU, along with performing wet-lab experiments, forms a core part of the role. Prior to this position, Lela held roles as Lead Senior NGS Applications Scientist and NGS Applications Scientist, both involving significant contributions to user experience and marketing support through experimental work. Lela managed the genomics core laboratory at Northern Arizona University from January 2012 to May 2020, focusing on protocol development and user services. Academic credentials include a PhD in Microbial Ecology from Northern Arizona University, complemented by an MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a BS in Chemistry, both from the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
