Rebecca Cohen

Rebecca Cohen has extensive legal experience, currently serving as a Charter Member of TechGC since May 2018, where General Counsels collaborate and share best practices. As General Counsel at Centre from April 2022 to September 2023 and earlier as Associate General Counsel for Tools for Humanity, Rebecca was instrumental in legal matters related to blockchain and digital identity technologies. Rebecca also held the position of General Counsel at Mark43, a venture-backed SaaS startup, the first to occupy this role. Prior experience includes working as an Associate in Bankruptcy at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, focusing on complex litigation and financing transactions. Rebecca holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) from the UCLA School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania.
