Andrea Cignoli

Andrea Cignoli has extensive work experience in the engineering and construction industry. Andrea started their career at Techint Group in 2005, where they worked as a Construction Engineer. Andrea then progressed to become a Site Construction Engineer, responsible for supervising the construction of a coal-fired power plant. Later, they served as a Deputy Site Project Manager for the Damietta Methanol project, overseeing technical and contractual issues. In 2011, Andrea was promoted to Project Manager, leading various projects until 2014.

In 2014, they joined Techint Engineering & Construction as the Country Manager for Nigeria, where they handled business development, ran a joint venture, and led sales opportunities. From 2015 to 2017, Andrea served as a Proposal Manager, leading teams in developing proposals for oil and gas and power industry projects in Mexico and Egypt. Their most recent role at Techint was the Commercial Manager for the International Area, where they were responsible for managing customer contracts and setting up partnership agreements.

Andrea's most recent position at Techint Engineering & Construction was as the Managing Director of Techint S.p.A., a role they held from June 2019 onwards.

Andrea Cignoli completed their Executive MBA at SDA Bocconi. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, graduating in 2005.
