Alexander Koenig is currently pursuing a PhD in Robotics and AI at Technische Universität Berlin within the Robotics and Biology Lab under Prof. Oliver Brock, focusing on control and sensing paradigms for soft robotic hands to enhance manipulation behaviors. Previous experience includes hosting the AI Paper Discussion Group at Merantix AI Campus to foster collaboration within Berlin's AI community, and serving as a Machine Learning Research Engineer at Merantix Momentum, specializing in computer vision for autonomous navigation. Alexander has engaged in research as a Visiting Researcher at Harvard University and Imperial College London, with a solid foundation built through education at the Technical University of Munich, where a Master of Science in Robotics, Cognition, and Intelligence was attained. Further international academic experiences include study periods at Tel Aviv University and University of Rome Tor Vergata.
