Hannah Christiansen

Hannah Christiansen is an accomplished violinist and arts administrator with extensive experience in music and writing. Currently a Research Assistant at Technomic, Inc., since November 2020, Hannah is also the Artistic Director and co-founder of The Zafa Collective, a Chicago-based new music ensemble promoting inclusivity in classical music. As a contributing writer for Inside Lacrosse since January 2013, Hannah has authored season previews and feature stories. Previous roles include violinist for the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and Coordinator for the Dover Quartet Residency at Northwestern University. Education includes a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature and History from Oberlin College. Additional experience includes coaching U-16 and U-18 lacrosse teams and completing internships in publicity and external affairs.
