Bassem Rawas

Bassem Rawas has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Bassem began their career in 2002 as a Production Manager at Multipost Retail Systems. In 2004, they joined Microsoft as a Support Engineer. Bassem then worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at the Greater Toronto Airports Authority from 2006 to 2010. From 2010 to 2013, Bassem served as a Senior Systems Administrator at Bell Canada, followed by a role as a Senior System Engineer at D+H in 2013. In 2013, Bassem joined BMO Financial Group as a Senior System Analyst. Currently, they are working at Techspan Industries Inc. as the IT Manager since September 2015 and recently promoted to the Director of Information Technology in March 2020.

Bassem Rawas attended Devry College of Technology from 2000 to 2002, where they pursued a degree in Electronics Engineering Technician with a focus in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Bassem obtained the A+ certification from CompTIA in March 2002. Bassem then earned the MCSE Windows Server 2003 certification from Microsoft in May 2006. Bassem continued to expand their knowledge and skills by obtaining the MCITP Enterprise Administrator 2008 certification from Microsoft in November 2010. Bassem later achieved the MCSA Windows Server 2012 certification from Microsoft in February 2013, followed by the MCSE 2012 Server Infrastructure certification from Microsoft in December 2013.
