Arne Vandenberghe started their professional career in 2016 as a lifeguard at IKWV - Intercommunale Kustreddingsdienst West-Vlaanderen, where they worked until September 2021. In September 2021, they joined TechWolf as a software engineer.
Arne Vandenberghe completed their Bachelor of Computer Science Engineering at Universiteit Gent in September 2019. Arne then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering with a specialization in Computerwetenschappen at Ghent University from 2016 to 2021. In addition to their formal education, Arne obtained several certifications including a Specialisatiegetuigschrift "Postoverste" from the West-Vlaams Opleidingscentrum voor Brandweer, Reddings- en Ambulancediensten in August 2018, a Hoger redder certification from Vlaamse Trainersschool in May 2017, a Brevet redder aan zee from the West-Vlaams Opleidingscentrum voor Brandweer, Reddings- en Ambulancediensten in September 2016, and an Animator in het jeugdwerk certification from the Departement Cultuur, Jeugd en Media in May 2015.
