Ayesha Ahmed is an experienced geologist with a strong background in exploration and geochemistry. Currently serving as Principal Geologist and Manager of Geochemistry at Teck Resources Limited since May 2019, Ayesha has held various roles including Senior Geochemist and Senior Project Geochemist. Prior to this, Ayesha was a PhD Candidate at CODES - University of Tasmania, focusing on trace element geochemistry in porphyry deposits. Ayesha's professional journey includes significant contributions at Northern Star Resources Ltd. as Project Geologist, where Ayesha successfully re-evaluated geological prospects and managed exploration budgets. Ayesha was also a key member of the team that discovered the Invincible Gold Camp during tenure at Gold Fields Ltd. Ayesha holds a PhD in Economic Geology from CODES University of Tasmania and an MSc from The University of British Columbia.
