Essam Daod

Essam Daod is a co-founder and Mental Health Director at Humanity Crew, an international aid organization dedicated to providing mental health interventions and psychological support to refugees and individuals in crises since November 2015. Daod also serves as a TED Fellow since 2018 and holds the position of Director at G12 Clinics, where responsibilities include supervision and training. Prior experience includes a role as a Resident Physician in Emergency Medicine and Surgery at Bnai Zion Medical Center from December 2010 to March 2012. Essam Daod's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, a Bachelor's degree in Medical Clinical Sciences from the same institution, a Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapists degree from the University of Haifa, and continuing medical education in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Tel Aviv University.
