Hemant Mallapur is an accomplished technology executive with 23 years of experience in the electronics and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Research and Development at Tejas Networks since August 2023, Hemant previously co-founded Saankhya Labs Pvt Ltd, where from August 2006 to August 2023, Hemant held the position of Executive VP of Engineering and successfully managed the development of award-winning SDR chipsets and rural broadband equipment. Prior experience includes engineering management roles at Genesis Microchip, where Hemant led the development of the company's first HDTV IC product, and project management positions at Sage Inc and Synopsys, focusing on integrated circuits and EDA tools. Hemant started their career at CG CoreEl Logic Systems after earning a B.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 1992.
