Carlos Dario Velasquez Garnica

Carlos Dario Velasquez Garnica is an experienced procurement specialist and engineer with a strong background in maintenance and project management. Currently leading procurement efforts at TekniPlex since April 2019, Carlos is responsible for Capex negotiation and the identification of new technologies for the company. Concurrently, Carlos has been serving as corporate purchasing leader at Grupo Phoenix since March 2015, focusing on strategic procurement and negotiations for projects, spare parts, and maintenance services across multiple countries including the USA, Mexico, Colombia, Ecuador, and Uruguay. Carlos's career also includes roles in maintenance engineering at Multidimensionales Group Phoenix and Proenfar, where expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance was applied. Carlos holds a specialization in project management from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada and a degree in mechatronics engineering from Universidad Militar.
