Michael Sommerfeldt

Michael Sommerfeldt is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and cost analysis. Currently serving as the Director of Finance and Multi-Site Controller at TekniPlex since April 2021, Michael has previously held the role of Controller at MPI PRODUCTS LLC from October 2018 to April 2021, where responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, strategic growth planning, and product costing. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Cost Accountant at Spacesaver Corporation, focusing on engineered-to-order product creation and P&L analysis. Michael's career began at MPI PRODUCTS LLC in 2012, where expertise in inventory control and cost analysis was developed. Michael holds an MBA with a concentration in Data Analytics and Finance, as well as a B.B.A. in Accounting, both from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
