Markus Järvi has extensive work experience in project management, mechanical engineering, and manufacturing. Markus is currently the Head of Project Management Department (PMO) and Mechanical Engineering at Teknoware, a position they have held since August 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of Teknoware Poland Sp. z o.o. from August 2016 to September 2023, where they established and led a greenfield daughter company. Markus also has experience as the Head of Project Management Department, PMO, and Mechanical Design Engineering at Teknoware Oy from January 2013 to August 2016, where they were responsible for developing the PMO operations and supervision of mechanical design engineering. Before their tenure at Teknoware Oy, Markus worked at Magna steyr Fahrzeugtechnik as a Design Group Team Leader, leading a team of professionals in designing automotive trim. Markus also served as a Design Engineer for concept cabriolet car "Zerone" at Valmet Automotive.
Markus Järvi holds a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Management - International Services Business Management from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2009 to 2010. Markus also has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from LAB University of Applied Sciences, which they completed from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Markus has obtained certifications in Change Management Foundations from LinkedIn (expected in 2023) and Developing a Critical Thinking Mindset from LinkedIn (completed in 2022). Markus has also undergone CEO training at Toimitusjohtajakoulu from 2015 to 2016.
