Michael E. Akhbari

Michael E. Akhbari, PMP, serves as the Senior Director of the DLA Business Unit at TekSynap since February 2025, responsible for service delivery and business growth. Prior experience includes serving as the President of Operational Support at ITA International, overseeing the Global Security Business Unit from December 2022 to February 2025. Michael was the Vice President of Operations at Frontier Technology from January 2019 to September 2022, focusing on operations strategy and P&L management within the federal sector. Previously, at NCI, Inc., Michael held various senior roles, including Vice President of Operations for major programs, with responsibilities in management, proposal strategy, and oversight of personnel. Michael's career began at MTC Technologies as a Corporate Pricing/Business Operations Analyst, where significant contributions were made to major defense contracting proposals. Academically, Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Denison University and completed the Executive Development Program at The Wharton School.
