Roberto Cuca

Roberto Cuca has over 25 years of experience in the life sciences, beginning first as a pharmaceutical and device regulatory lawyer then moving into finance and operating roles of increasing responsibility in medical technology and biopharma companies. Before joining TELA Bio, Mr. Cuca was CFO of OraSure Technologies, Inc., where he acquired and integrated four novel technology companies and raised $95 million in equity capital. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer of Trevena, Inc., which he helped take public and where he raised over $275 million in equity and debt capital. Mr. Cuca received an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a J.D. from Cornell Law School, and an A.B. from Princeton University. Mr. Cuca is also a CFA Charterholder.
