Yasser Fouad has a strong background in information technology and security, with experience in various leadership positions. Yasser has worked for Telecom Egypt since 2009, starting as an Executive IT Director and later moving up to the role of Chief Information Security Officer. In these roles, Yasser was responsible for planning, executing, and operating data centers, IT networks, and security services for Telecom Egypt. Yasser also played a key role in developing and implementing security policies and building security organizations within the company. Prior to Telecom Egypt, Yasser worked for HP EMEA Belgium as a Global Account Delivery Manager and EMEA Telecom Delivery Manager, where they oversaw service delivery and network operations. Yasser also gained experience in network management and strategy while working at Procter & Gamble as an EMEA Regional Network Manager. Yasser began their career as an Oil Services Field Engineer at Schlumberger Wireline & Testing, and later worked as a Customer Support Engineer at AT&T Global Information Solutions.
Yasser Fouad completed their Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications & Electronics from Cairo University Faculty of Engineering in the years 1989 to 1994. Yasser obtained a degree in Telecommunications & Electronics. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in CISM from ISACA and PMP from PMI Belgium Chapter, though the dates of completion are not specified.
