Carlo Blefari Melazzi

Carlo Blefari Melazzi is an experienced finance professional specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at TIM since July 2021 and as Chief Executive Officer at TIM Ventures since October 2021, Carlo has previously held significant roles, including Head of TMT M&A at IMI Corporate & Investment Banking at Intesa Sanpaolo from May 2018 to June 2021, and M&A banker at Banca IMI from April 2012 to April 2018. Carlo began the career as a Vice President at Credit Suisse from July 2004 to February 2012, contributing to the Italian coverage team and focusing on M&A transactions. The professional journey commenced with an internship in the Italian M&A team at Merrill Lynch in early 2002 and included a research assistant position at the Asia-Europe Institute of the University of Malaya in 2001. Carlo holds a degree in Finance from Università Bocconi, with additional academic experience at Erasmus University Rotterdam.
