Magid Fazel is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in hardware design and product development. Since March 2012, Magid has served as Product Development Lead at Teledyne RD Instruments, focusing on next-generation Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) electronics and overseeing significant upgrades and productionization of multi-channel systems. Prior to this role, Magid worked at Curtiss Wright Controls from April 2004 to February 2012 as Principal Engineer & Hardware Designer, where responsibilities included leading architecture and design for Intel-based single board computers and various complex electronic systems. Magid's career began at Lockheed Martin, where from April 1987 to April 2004, valuable contributions were made as Hardware Architect & Designer, particularly in the development of SBC products for aerospace applications. Magid holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, earned between 1978 and 1982.
