David Ramirez de Los Reyes

David Ramirez De Los Reyes is the Chief of Energy Efficiency at Movistar (Telefónica Hispam) since October 2023, focusing on identifying opportunities for energy efficiencies in the HISPAM region and supporting energy efficiency initiatives. Previously, David served as the Chief of Network Energy Planning at Telefónica Colombia from May 2006 to October 2022, where responsibilities included coordinating energy equipment resource planning and budget management for network expansion. Earlier roles at Telefónica Colombia encompassed Senior Network Planning Engineer, specializing in cellular access network planning, and Junior Evaluation for Terminals and Sim Cards Engineer, ensuring the technical approval of mobile terminals. David began his career at Telmex as an Ingeniero Soporte Grandes Cuentas. Educational qualifications include a Master’s in Managing the Digital Telco from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, a Master's in Business Innovation Management from Universidad de Barcelona, and an Engineering degree in Telecommunications from Universidad Santo Tomás.
