Ognen Firfov

Ognen Firfov, PhD has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Ognen is currently working at Deutsche Telekom as the DT Global Audit Leader for the Audit Academy and People Talent Skills initiative since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Makedonski Telekom AD for several years in various roles. From January 2022, they served as the Director of Internal Audit & Risk Management, and from February 2016 to December 2021, they held the position of Director of Internal Audit. Ognen also had experience as the Consumer Sales Director from January 2011 to November 2015. Ognen Firfov began their career at Makedonski Telekom AD in 1998 and held positions such as Chief Sales Director from November 2008 to October 2010, Executive Sales Director from January 2005 to October 2008, Interim Director of MTCom from March 2004 to December 2004, and Director of MTnet from July 1998 to December 2004. Ognen Firfov, PhD has a diverse educational background. Ognen first earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing/Marketing Management from The University of Sheffield from 2008 to 2012. In 2013, they pursued executive education at the Zurich Institute of Business Education - CEIBS Business Campus (Lorange Institute). Continuing their education, Firfov obtained a PhD in Economics and Management from St. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Economics, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General, from 2014 to 2019. Prior to their PhD, they completed a degree in Electrotechnical Engineering - Computer Science from St. Cyril and Methodius University Skopje - Faculty of Electrical Engineering, from 1986 to 1991. Ognen subsequently obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Computer Science from the same institution from 1992 to 1996.
