Joshua Cox has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong emphasis on operations and engineering. Joshua began their career as an Outside Plant Engineer for AT&T, leading discussions with teams to drive down project costs and ensure customer satisfaction. Joshua then moved on to serve as a Field IT Engineer for AT&T, overseeing field operations and maintaining high quality assurance levels. Joshua also worked as an Optical Network Engineer for Telamon, managing fiber optics installation projects and implementing DWDM Cisco networks for major companies. Joshua later became an Integration Manager at Telamon, leading technical teams in staging, provisioning, and testing optical network equipment. In their most recent role as Director of Operations, Joshua has been responsible for overseeing various operations, including supply chain management and integration testing, as well as implementing KPIs and training programs to improve efficiency and track progress. Throughout their career, Joshua has consistently demonstrated the ability to streamline processes, reduce costs, and deliver successful implementations.
Joshua Cox obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University from 2002 to 2006. Joshua then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Communication Information Sciences from the same institution from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their academic achievements, Joshua also obtained certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the Six Sigma Global Institute in August 2020, and in the Telamon Leadership Academy from ADVISA in September 2019.
