Wim began their career at Telenet in 2007 as an Architect and progressed to various managerial roles, including Manager Application & Information Architecture, Manager Transformation Architecture, and Director Architecture - CoE Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President Software & Architecture. Wim also has a strong academic background, having worked as a Phd researcher FWO, Postdoctoral Fellow FWO, and later as a Docent and Professor at Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
Wim Vanderperren earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel in 1999. Later, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science from the same university in 2003.
