Pål Grønsund

Pål Grønsund is an experienced technology leader in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Head of Technology at Telenor AI Factory and Director of Cloud Strategy and Architecture at Telenor Group since 2007. Grønsund has played pivotal roles in developing cloud platforms and architectures across Telenor's business units, alongside significant contributions in research, including as a Senior Research Scientist focused on network and wireless technologies. Grønsund's academic background includes a PhD in Telecommunications from the University of Oslo, with research on cognitive radio, and a history of collaborating on advanced projects and initiatives, including the Horizon 2020 project 5G-VINNI.
