Toby Showering is an experienced civil engineer specializing in highways and asset management. Currently serving as a Senior Engineer (Testing) at National Highways since June 2025, and holding the position of Senior Highways Asset Management Engineer at Telford & Wrekin Council since September 2021, Toby has a strong background in pavement design, project management, and budget control. Previous experience includes roles as a Highways Asset Management Engineer at Telford & Wrekin Council and an Engineer at AECOM, where Toby played a key role in the principal inspection of bridges and structures within the South Wales Trunk Road Agent network. Toby's academic foundation includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Birmingham, completed in 2015.
