Mike Kavanagh has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Mike started their career at Eastman Kodak, where they worked as an Industrial Engineer from 1984 to 1986. Mike then joined BellSouth Telecommunications, where they held the positions of Staff Manager - OSP Planning from 1986 to 1995, and later became the Manager - Advanced Networks from 1995 to 1998. After leaving BellSouth, Mike worked at Marconi PLC as an Account Executive from 1998 to 2005. Currently, they are employed at Tellabs and has held various roles, including Executive Account Manager from 2005 to 2018, Director - Telco Sales from 2018 to 2019, and currently serves as the Vice President - Global Telco Sales since July 2019.

Mike Kavanagh earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Industrial Engineering from Mississippi State University.
